A quick introduction. I'm a teacher. A dog mom to Callie Girl. A world traveler (with an affinity for all things Italy). An adventure seeker. And a nature lover. I love living life to the fullest. But life hasn't always been easy living.
Enter pain and an autoimmune disease. I was in my early 20s, but felt like I was 90. I had severe arthritis – it was in my hands, my feet, my back, my shoulders, my toes, my fingers….everywhere. My body was attacking itself. I learned I *had* an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. And despite my high tolerance for pain, life was no longer enjoyable.
But I was determined to live life well again. And so began my journey to heal the root cause of my dis-ease, without conventional medicine. I relied heavily on my intuition which unleashed my inner healer.
Today I am living pain free. And it's all because I listened to my body's signs and chose a completely unconventional path to healing - using food as medicine! Through my own personal experience and extensive self study I've learned how to unlock the power of food. Now I teach others how to do the same!
